This comprehensive English language course is designed to build your confidence with communicating in English. Our British Council accredited teachers bring a wealth of experience to lessons each day, ensuring you improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The course is run by SKOLA English in London, an internationally recognised education group who have been teaching English to students from all over the world for over 40 years. Students who learn General English with SKOLA can typically improve their English ability by a full level in 10 weeks.

Course options

The course runs Monday to Friday with new student enrolment every Monday. Students can sign up for as many weeks as they require. The 15 hours programme will run Monday to Friday from 10:00am until 13:15pm. The 21 hours programme has an additional 6 hours in the afternoon 10:00am until 13:15pm & 14:00pm until 15:00pm.

21 hours per week - mornings and afternoons

Morning classes: The 15 hours programme covers all skills - speaking and pronunciation, listening, reading & writing, vocabulary and grammar.

Afternoon classes: The 21 hour programme includes added focus on communication and comprehension – listening and speaking.

What's included

Course materials - free (1 - 3 weeks), book is £35 for courses lasting 4 weeks or longer

Social activities - at least 2 per week, 3 in the summer

Social Programme

SKOLA offers an exciting social programme with weekend excursions to places of interest in and out of London including Cambridge, Bath, Greenwich or the street markets of Camden Town and Portobello.

Activities during the week focus on helping students discover why London is one of the most exciting places in the world and include theatre trips, pubs, restaurants, South Bank and visits to the huge range of museums and galleries London has to offer. There is no charge for any social programme event but students must pay for their own travel and any entrance fees.
